Tazo Chai Tea and Latte Concentrate Review

Tazo Chai Tea and Latte Review

I recently got to try Tazo's Chai Tea and lattes and oh my!

My favorite for sure was the Chai Latte Concentrate. As the box below shows, it has cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, and ginger flavor. I personally had never tried something like this before, the ginger flavor is pretty strong, but I think that's what makes this latte so different.

So what you do is, you take half of the latte concentrate and you mix it with half milk. You don't need to add sugar as its already sweetened. You can either drink it over ice (cold) or heat it up on the stove or microwave. I prefer hot drinks, so that's how I have mines.

See pictures below for nutrition facts. I actually just noticed that half a cup has 16 g of sugar and 70 calories (plus milk)! That's tons of sugar, no wonder it's so sweet! :( but it tastes so good, so that makes me feel better lol.

They had chai lattes in other flavors as well. See pictures below for more information.

You can also find their bags of chai tea in so many different flavors. I also got the chocolate chai and the vanilla caramel. Honestly I wasn't too impressed with the vanilla caramel.  The one that truly impressed me was the Chai Latte as it has that strong flavor to it.

Price? You can find them at Publix for $3.99 - boxed tea bags as well as the concentrate lattes.

Thankfully I received mines for free from Smiley360 for testing purposes. :)

Avon Supershock Mascara Review

Avon Supershock Mascara

I have been using this mascara for several months now. The first time I used it, I wanted to immediately throw it away lol... That's because my eyelashes didn't look any different after applying the mascara.

Well, I decided to still keep it as I don't like to throw away money like that, and I kept using my old mascara. Well, a few weeks after I decided to give Avon's mascara another try, but this time I decided to apply several coats instead of just one or two.

Well well well!!!! That made the difference :) after that, you would guess that I continued using the mascara, and it's almost running out now :( but I won't purchase another one because I still have another Avon mascara that is still sealed. Let's see how that one goes!

Anyway, I truly like this mascara and I'm so glad that I did not throw it away. It works wonderfully, does not clump, and lasts all day... IF you apply at around 3-4 coats!

I can't recall the price, but i purchased it when it was on sale for $5 or less.

See you all later! ;)*

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation Review.

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Review.

So, I used this foundation for over a year and at first I liked it and thought it was good enough for me.

Well, after using it for a few months, I started getting acne between my lips and chin. Yet I still continued using the foundation as I didn't think it was a big deal. (Crazy me!)

After switching to another foundation, I realized that this Maybelline foundation is kind of caky and doesn't last all day.   It also made my face look oily.

(It comes in a glass bottle with a pump, and as most bottles with a pump, when there's a little bit of product left, it becomes difficult to get it out.)

It's full coverage and price ranges between $7.99-8.99 depending on where you buy it. You can find them at Walmart, Target, Publix and pharmacies as well.

Though this foundation might work great for some people, unfortunately I can't say the same for me.

But for the price, it was worth the try.

Dr. Scholl's Jelly Soak Theraphy Review

Just a few months ago I purchased Dr. Scholl's Foot Spa, and inside it had two packs of Jelly Soak Theraphy, but I didn't care to try them until today...

Oh my! Why didn't I try them before? It's like heaven for my feet!

What can I say? After having my feet in the jelly for at least 30 minutes, I did not want to take them out! :( it just felt so good, so relaxing, so peaceful! I did this in my garage, so yeah, I wanted to fall asleep there!

First I filled up the container with warm water, then poured the jelly soak Theraphy and let it sit for three minutes. Then mix it, and stick your feet in. WARNING!!!! You might not want to do anything else after this lol.

I honestly recommend you try out Dr Scholl's Jelly Soak Theraphy. It's so worth it! You won't regret it! Now I gotta hope to find them in the store.

Remember pampering yourself doesn't have to be so expensive! There are some things that we can just enjoy at home.

Ta-da!!!! La la la la lol :)

Advil Film Coated Review

This is just a quick post about Advil ffilm Coat samples that I received from #Crowdtap . I honestly had to use a pack the very next day after I received them as I tend to get headaches at least once a week.

Not sure why so many headaches though :|

well, this little pills worked in less than an hour and kept my headache away for the rest of the day. Unfortunately they aren't miracle pills, so the headache came back a few days after lol

Regardless they worked as promised.

Olay Foaming Face Wash Review

I have been using Olay Foaming face wash for quite a few years now and I don't see why I should change to another one.

First of all I have seen it comes in for sensitive skin (that's what I buy) and normal to oily skin.  It comes in a bottle with a pump as well as the other container pictured. (I usually have 2-3 containers at home lol).

It's 100% oil free and 100% soap free.

It does a nice job removing makeup (foundation, bronzer, blush, eye shadow and such - Not so well removing eye liner nor waterproof mascara though, but I don't mind, I remove the eye liner with something else)

It's odor less, costs about $4.99. You can find them at Walmart, Target and in some pharmacies or even grocery stores.

That's all for now.... I think I will continue using this face wash until they stop making it lol

Motives by LaLa La Reina Lipgloss Review

So just a few weeks ago I won a lipgloss from a giveaway.

It's called La Reina from Motives by LaLa.

I really like it. It's thick and glossy.
It has a nude tint to it. I wear it mostly when I don't want my lips to be too bright!

Here's a picture to show how it looks.

I really like it and would recommend it to anyone.

Here's another picture of it.

The lipgloss lasts for a few hours and would probably last longer and look better with lip liner. I will try that next time.

By the way, I have a new Instagram page ----> makeup_obs please follow for pictures of mostly lipstick and lip gloss.

Well that's all ;)

LA Colors Lipstick Coral Sheen BLC14 Review

So here's a picture of one of my Dollar Tree findings. LA Colors Lipstick BLC14 Coral Sheen.

(In this pic it looks a bit lighter. But the next picture reflects true color. )

Well when I saw it at the store, I wasn't too sure about purchasing it because it looked like a bright orange. I asked my boyfriend's opinion and he said "go for it, it's something different". So I bought it.

Of course, immediately after I got in the car, I opened it and put it on lol...

Well, the color is not pigmented as I thought it would be, but I still like it a lot. It's not scandalous but instead it has a very pastel look to it.

Price? $1... Quality? Not bad for a $1 lol

The color lasted on my lips for about 2 hours or so, then I just re applied some more. This is a type of lipstick I would recommend to wear if you're going to the store real quick or maybe going to your job where you don't really have any interest in showing off your makeup? (Casual)

Well, anyway I still liked it and will continue using it :)

I bought a pack of 6 different colors on eBay for just under $14 and free shipping.

I will keep posting pictures to show how the other colors look.

Meanwhile I'm enjoying this one! ;)*

Yes To Carrots Makeup Remover Cleanser Review

Talk about makeup remover cleansers!

Well I wanted to try a different makeup remover, so I purchased Yes to Carrots Makeup remover Cleanser.

I used it several times and wasn't too sure it was doing its job, and wanted to use it a few times to make I wasn't being to quick to dislike it.
So, I always washed my face with a good amount of the cleanser and warm water as instructed. But after using a few times I had to give up on it, because it truly didn't remove the makeup.

And last night I decided to give it another  shot and I tried to wash my make up brushes with Yes to Carrots Makeup cleanser. I let them sit for a few minutes in warm water and plenty of the cleanser. I thought it was weird that the water was barely dirty, but I was like "ok". Then I noticed one of the brushes was yucky, so I decided to use my current face wash and immediately the water turned into the color of my foundation lol ....  In other words, the cleanser did not remove any of the makeup off the brushes! That was definitely the LAST time I will be using that face wash.   Honestly I considered it to be the worst I have ever used. Even Equate (Walmart's brand) face wash does a better job!

It did not remove the makeup from my face nor the makeup brushes! I truly do not recommend this product to anyone :( it was a waste of my money.

I'm sorry but I expected a bit more that brand and from natural products! :|

Wet n Wild 914C Mocha-licious lipstick review

Here's another lovely Wet n Wild lipstick.

914C Mocha-licious

Found it at Walgreens for $1.99

Love the color, I was never into dark colors, matter of fact I was always into "pink" colors, now I'm like whatever! I can do any color, WHY NOT?

Sometimes we have to set aside our fears and get out of that little shell!

As I grow I'm starting to have a bit more confidence in myself and care a bit less of what others think. I'm learning to be happy and confident in my own skin.

And so should you! You're beautiful inside out!

Here's how it looked on the lips.

By the way, it went on smoothly and lasted for hours!

Bye ya'all!  ;)*
